Let us help you create a family heirloom to mark a special occasion or turn your favorite silk scarf into a statement for your walls!
HANDKERCHIEVES
This Hermès scarf arrived folded, requiring meticulous care to restore its original form. We began by gently steaming out every crease and precision-stretching the silk to achieve a perfect square while protecting the integrity of the design. Given the thin, delicate nature of silk twill, this is a patient process, yet essential for the final result.
MUD CLOTHS
To honor the natural character of this large-scale 44" x 77" work, we utilized a float-mounting technique against a burlap mat, allowing the raw edges to remain fully visible. The depth of the walnut shadowbox adds a sophisticated architectural element while pulling the rich, warm browns from the piece. By using Optium Museum Acrylic, we’ve ensured the display is not only protected from light damage but also remains perfectly clear and free of dust-attracting static.
WOVEN AREA RUGS
We utilized a shadowbox design paired with a neutral fabric mat to create depth and ensure the textile is safely recessed away from the glazing. This presentation maintains a clean, balanced aesthetic while providing the necessary air space for long-term preservation.
WOOL PAINTINGS
Luxury in every detail: this beaded work is presented in a textured AMCI-Regence frame and floated on a soft gold silk mat. An added inner fillet provides the perfect architectural finish, creating a luminous 'frame within a frame' that makes the beaded colors and reflections truly pop.
FLAGS
Collaborating closely with our client, we designed a custom presentation to preserve a remarkable piece of family history: the flag that flew on their grandfather's ship during WWII. We selected a rich burled wood frame and a neutral fabric mat, creating a timeless aesthetic that honors the flag’s heritage while ensuring its long-term preservation for future generations.
QUILTS
Custom-framed quilt featuring a hand-sewn float mount on a textured teal-toned mat. Achieving a perfect square with antique textiles is a time-intensive process, but vital for the final presentation. The dual-frame composition utilizes a thin orange accent moulding nested within a distressed brown wood frame, creating a sophisticated, multi-dimensional look.
